Driving Lessons Test Matthew McConaughey and Penelope Cruz  3/8/06

 Actor Matthew McConaughey's patience has been tested while trying to teach girlfriend Penelope Cruz to drive a car.

The Vanilla Sky actress didn't feel the need to learn to drive in her native Spain and is currently working on getting her driver's license in the US.

He explains, "Nobody here wants to be on the same road with her.

"Maybe in a parking lot with nine acres (3.6 hectares) and no cars in it.

"We go on some drives. We've had a few (tense) moments where she's (has to remind me), 'It is my first time.'"
