Kylie Minogue Writing Books for Kids 3/8/06

Pop beauty Kylie Minogue has been busily writing a series of stories for little girls while she recovers from breast cancer.

The 37-year-old star has wasted no time in getting creative, and, like fellow hit maker Madonna, she is thrilled to be launching a lucrative sideline in children's books.

Jane Richardson, of publishing house Puffin, describes the work as "a lavish picture book with artwork and exclusive photographs.

"(It) will appeal to little princesses everywhere who love to dress up and have fun."
