Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend Split? 3/11/06

Hollywood beauty Charlize Theron has reportedly split from her long-term love Stuart Townsend after work commitments forced the pair apart.

Theron, who dated the Irish actor for five years, has been spotted attending recent showbiz bashes such as the BAFTAs and the Oscars without Townsend by her side.

A pal of the actress tells British newspaper The Sun, "Charlize is free and single again. Her relationship with Stuart is well and truly over. They just grew apart.

"It wasn't always easy because filming often kept them apart for months."

The Monster star recently announced she had no intention of marrying her former beau, insisting, "It's not really what I want, or what he wants."
