Natalie Portman's Hair Missing  3/15/06

Actress Natalie Portman is desperate to find the hair she shaved off for her latest film role, because she doesn't want it to fall into the wrong hands. 

Portman had to shave off her locks for her role in V for Vendetta, where her character joins forces with a terrorist and tries to topple a corrupt totalitarian British regime. The Closer star believes her shorn hair may be in a bag somewhere, but she's not certain. She says, "I have it somewhere, but I actually don't know where it is!" 

The film's director, James McTeigue has jokingly threatened to find the hair and sell it on online auction site eBay. 

Portman adds, "I should find it. It's dangerous (not knowing where it is)."
