Evangeline Lilly Loved Being an Extra  3/21/06

 

Lost star Evangeline Lilly insists she had the time of her life working as an extra before signing up to her big-break role in the plane crash series. 

 

The 26-year-old actress initially had doubts about playing bit-parts, only to find it was the easiest job in the world. 

 

She says, "Being an extra, ironically, turned out to be something I loved. "I could go in when I wanted. Do my homework. Read books. Eat their food. Rest. "That was my job and I got paid for it!"
