Longoria: "When The Lights Are Out, He's The Teacher!"
BURBANK, Calif. - March 22, 2006- Eva Longoria sets the record straight
with "Access Hollywood's" Billy Bush about her relationship with
Tony Parker and what she hoped would come across in Allure magazine's
April cover story. The interview airs on "Access Hollywood,"
Wednesday, March 22, 2006 (Log on to AccessHollywood.com to check local
time and station).
In response to Allure magazine's April 2006 cover story Longoria said,
"It is actually a very beautiful article and the pictures are great.
I was really upset about the domestic and international press. They kind
of tore it apart and latched on to things that that really weren't in the
article and it really misconstrued a lot of what was said in there and it
kind of upset me."
While reports have taken her quote, "I'm the teacher, especially
about love" into a sexual context, the "Desperate
Housewives" star said, "I never meant that in a sexual way and
nor is it a sexual way in the article."
To set the record straight she added, "When the lights are out,
he's the teacher!" Longoria also said that there are many other
things her basketball boyfriend teaches her about, "Tony is so good
with money he teaches me so much about money management. He teaches me so
much about responsibility and time management...He is the teacher of all
things to me."
Longoria also gave a direct message to the Parker's basketball locker
room: "Everybody in the locker room, quit teasing Tony."
"Access Hollywood" is produced by NBC and distributed by NBC
Universal Domestic Television Distribution. Rob K Silverstein is the
executive producer.
