"Sleep Deprivation Is Really Starting To Irritate Me" -- Tensions mount and the stress of the race takes its toll on several teams who get lost while trying to find their next clue in Sicily, on THE AMAZING RACE 9, Wednesday, April 5 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. (Previously scheduled for an earlier date).

While racing through the ancient streets of Sicily, teams choose between a detour where they must either sell four kilograms of small Italian fish in a busy open-air market, or carry a 32-pound swordfish one-third of a mile through a congested part of the city in order to receive their next clue. Teams are also faced with a roadblock that requires one team member to score a goal in the popular Italian sport of "Kayak Polo" while competing against a team of professional players.

THE AMAZING RACE is broadcast on Tuesdays (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT). THE AMAZING RACE has won three consecutive Emmy Awards for Best Reality Program.

THE AMAZING RACE 9 is an adventure reality show hosted by Phil Keoghan. The show features 11 teams of two on a trek around the world for approximately 30 days. At every destination, each team of two will have to compete in a series of challenges -- some mental and some physical -- and only when the tasks have been completed will they learn their next destination. Teams who are farthest behind will gradually be eliminated as the contest progresses, with the first team to arrive at the final destination winning $1 million.
