Who Wants to Buy a Millionaire Show?  3/31/06

The rights to international TV hit Who Wants to be a Millionaire? are up for sale for an estimated $70 million.

British program makers Celador created the game show in Britain in 1998, with Chris Tarrant as host, and the formula was sold on to over 60 countries, including the United States, India, Australia, France and Germany.

British newspaper Daily Mirror reports Celador are selling the rights, but Tarrant will keep his job.
