Carmen Electra Rubbishes Reality TV Curse 3/6/07

Actress Carmen Electra has laughed off reports her divorce from rocker Dave Navarro was caused by their MTV reality show 'Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave.

Electra - real name Tara Patrick - finalized her divorce from The Panic Channel guitarist last month (20FEB07) after two and a half years of marriage, but she refuses to blame the alleged 'MTV curse' for her failed relationship, insisting there is no such thing.

She says, "I don't believe so, though many people have been put off (reality TV shows). Just look at Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne. Those two are totally happy and they had the cameras following them for years.

"I went to their place for New Year's Eve actually, and they seem happier and crazier than ever. It was so funny because the animals got out and began running amok and poor Ozzy was trying to round them up. He got so mad."

Pop stars Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey divorced in June 2006 after appearing on MTV's Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica, while Meet the Barkers' Travis Barker split from wife Shanna Moakler in August 2006.
