Pamela Anderson Offers Support to Britney Spears  3/7/07

Actress Pamela Anderson has come to the defense of troubled pop star Britney Spears - telling the media to stop hounding the singer while she completes her stint in rehab.

The former Baywatch beauty believes reporters should be more positive about Spears' attempts to overcome her battle with substance abuse.

She says, "When you are scrutinized in public and judged by people who have no idea what is going on, it can be devastating. I wish her well and I am sure she will overcome this. People need to be more supportive."
