Heather Mills Makes Sure Her Leg Keeps Her Dancing  3/14/07

Heather Mills is taking every precaution to make sure her leg doesn't fall off while she's competing on TV show Dancing With the Stars - she's getting amputee advice and help from other one-legged dancers.

The model-turned-activist hopes her stint on the show encourages others with similar disabilities to go dancing and is determined not to look foolish on the floor.

She says, "I've got a secondary spare leg just in case I overdo it on the foot and it breaks or something.

"It can, once it gets hot, start to slide and come off, so I've pulled a sleeve over the top which doesn't look as cosmetically good.

"As much as everyone would love it to go flying, I'm sure it's not going to come off."

Mills' stint on the US TV dancing contest begins next week (19MAR07).
