Mills Toughness Will Help Her Win Dancing With the Stars
3/16/07
The producers of US TV contest Dancing With the Stars are convinced
celebrity amputee Heather Mills has a real chance of winning the new
season of the show - because she has a toughness her fellow contestants
lack.
Even Mills' professional dancing partner, Jonathan Roberts, had
preconceptions about what it would be like to dance with a one-legged
woman, but now he feels Mills could surprise fans of the show.
Just two weeks after The Sopranos tough guy Vincent Pastore quit the TV
talent show because dancing lessons were too grueling, Roberts and
producers insist Mills, an animal rights and peace activist, might just
have what it takes to be a winner.
Mills, the estranged wife of Sir Paul McCartney, says, "The people
involved in the show are saying, 'It's not dramatic enough. You're not
breaking down like most of the contestants do at this point.'
"I said, 'My life is war zones and animal rights - things that are
really devastating. This is just fun.'"
