Collin Farrell to Star in Iraq Film  3/18/07

Irish movie star Colin Farrell has signed to star in a new movie about the war in Iraq.

Farrell will appear alongside Charlize Theron, Ralph Fiennes and Willem Dafoe in The Hurt Locker, which tells the story of an ill-fated bomb disposal unit.

It will be directed by Katherine Bigelow, who co-wrote the screenplay with war correspondent Mark Boal. Shooting will begin later this year (07).
