Julia Roberts Turning New Home Into an Eco-Friendly Place  3/22/07

Julia Roberts is determined to be a green mother by the time she gives birth to her third child this summer (07) - the home she's moving into will be a solar-powered eco-friendly place.

The environmentally-sound star is fixing up her new $20 million Malibu, California mansion with the latest state-of-the art green gizmos and gadgets.

As well as being solar-powered, a family friend tells Life & Style magazine the new place will be built with wood from "sustainably managed forests".

The source adds, "Even the bathrooms will have recycled tiles."

Once she's done with the house, Julia plans to turn her focus to fuel: "I have a hybrid car, but I want something that runs on vegetable oil. I think it's a small price to pay to smell like a French fry."
