Hollywood star Carmen Electra knows how to protect herself from womanizing suitors - she literally crushes them into submission.

The star, who split from rocker Dave Navarro in July last year (06), claims as a teen she used to beat up the boys she liked rather then expose her true feelings.

Electra - now rumored to be dating lesbian rocker Joan Jett - says, "When I was younger there were lots of guys who got on the wrong side of me because I had a crush on them, but it was easier to beat them up than tell them.

"My finishing move was to throw them over my shoulder - I can still do that today."
