American Idol Results Show, March 28, 2006

Last night we heard the remaining ten singers perform. Some of them deserve to continue into the next week’s round but a couple of them deserve to be sent back home with faded dreams of being the American Idol. The 30 + million voters are swayed not just by the musical ability, but by the looks, the personality, the charisma and the audience appeal. Sometimes a really good singer will be tossed out because they fail to impress us on a very personal level. And sometimes a poor singer will be kept in the competition because of their unusualness and that does not necessarily equate with uniqueness.

So with no further delay, the bottom three were: Phil, Haley and Chris Sligh. And as predicted last night by yours truly, Chris who was in big trouble after his very poor performance was sent home and his idol hopes collapsed.

That leaves us with nine left. Who will shine next week? And who will be sent packing?
