Terrence Howard Reveals Crush on Tyra Banks  4/1/07

Actor Terrence Howard has confessed his longtime crush on retired model Tyra Banks on national TV in America.

The Hustle & Flow star, who was recently romantically linked to Banks' former catwalk rival Naomi Campbell, told the American beauty she was one of his top women during an appearance on her daytime TV show yesterday (30MAR07).

He said, "I still have a crush on you, everybody has a crush on Tyra."

And, as a disbelieving Banks tried to hide her blushes, Howard added, "You remember when I saw you a year ago... I said, `I really wanna get your number,'

and you were like, `As long as you're not trying to date me.'

"I wasn't; I just wanted to know you because you are really the top of everything for me... Every man would want a woman that has your qualities - the beauty, the tenacity, the endurance, the strength and the kindness. It's beautiful."

Red-faced Banks remembered the party encounter, admitting she was astonished when Howard kept reminding her of the number she gave him.

She recalled, "I said it really really really fast and two hours later he comes over, and I'm not gonna say the real number, but he was like, `329-55520.'"

Howard revealed, "It's still in my phone."

The actor-turned-musician went on to reveal he wrote new song Will You Marry Me? with his crush in mind - he performed the touching ballad on the show.

Banks then flirted with Howard after he revealed there's a spot on his neck which makes him "fall to pieces" when a woman touches it.

The former model said, "I'm gonna have to get to that spot. Before you leave this stage today, that spot is going to be touched by me."

Sneaky Banks touched Terrence's lovespot while the actor was showing off his swimming technique.
