Eisley Launches Major U.S. Headlining Tour Starting April 1st
NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 03/03/08 -- After three years of
non-stop touring and with new material under their belt, Eisley are primed
more than ever to launch a major U.S. headlining tour this Spring
beginning April 1st in Houston, TX with The Myriad, Melee and The Envy
Corps as supporting acts. Audiences far and wide have come to love the
band's dreamy, ethereal indie pop sound, carving out an incredible
following over the past few years, while also garnering critical media
attention. Their 2007 album release, "Combinations," was named
one of the best albums of the year by MSNBC and Harp Magazine applauds,
"with 'Combinations,' Eisley have written some of the most
captivating material of their career."
Comprised of the DuPree Family, and hailing from Tyler, Texas --
vocalist/guitarist Sherri DuPree-Gilbert, vocalist/bassist Stacy DuPree,
guitarist Chauntelle DuPree, bassist Garron DuPree, and drummer Weston
DuPree -- they rocked Park City, Utah at this year's Sundance Film
Festival when they performed at a very special live-music event,
"Where Music Meets Film," featuring Warner Bros. Records hottest
emerging artists. The band is fresh off a unique acoustic tour of the
U.S., and Eisley's energy has earned them tours with Coldplay, Taking Back
Sunday, New Found Glory and Mute Math and an appearance on "Late
Night with Conan O'Brien."
Hitting every major market in the U.S. and supporting a critically
acclaimed album, this is a tour you will not want to miss this Spring.
