Mandy Moore Shuns Nightlife for Quiet Nights In  3/4/08

Singer/actress Mandy Moore insists she will never be photographed in an intoxicated state because she avoids parties in favor of going to sleep by 8.30pm.

The wholesome 23-year-old dislikes socializing with people who indulge in drink and drugs, so steers clear of Hollywood nightclubs.

She says, "It's important for me to surround myself with good people who are good examples. Unfortunately, there are bad people in this world.

"Maybe I'm completely unaware. I've been drunk very few times in my life, and I feel like I live in a bubble because I have never seen drugs at a party before - like someone doing a line of cocaine.

"Quite honestly, I don't want to be around it, which is why I'm not a big 'going out' person. I'll have dinner at like six, and I'm in bed by 8.30."
