03/10/2008 (10:00PM - 10:59PM) (Monday) : IN THE FIRST PART OF A SEARING TWO-PART EPISODE, ALLISON'S MOTHER-IN-LAW (GUEST STAR KATHY BAKER, "BOSTON PUBLIC") COMES FOR A VISIT -- WITH A HIDDEN AGENDA -- AS TWO HORRIFIC CASES ARISE -- ACADEMY AWARD WINNER ANJELICA HUSTON ALSO GUEST STARS  

In the first of a two-part episode, when Joe's (Jake Weber) mom Marjorie Dubois (guest star Kathy Baker, "Boston Public") abruptly arrives for a visit, Allison (Emmy winner Patricia Arquette) frets about seeing her mother-in-law for the first time since her psychic abilities were publicly revealed -- until she learns the real reason for the trip. 

Meanwhile, as Ameritips investigator Cynthia Keener (Anjelica Huston) attempts to nudge Allison's dreams towards open cases, Ariel (Sofia Vassilieva) forsees the death of a classmate's mother. Later, an arson-related murder brings Allison, Devalos (Miguel Sandoval) and Detective Lee Scanlon (David Cubitt) back together in an unexpected manner. 

Maria Lark and Miranda Carabello also star.
