Eva Longoria Parker Opens Tex-Mex Restaurant  3/7/08

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria Parker cooked up a treat for her celebrity pals on Thursday night (06Mar08) when she opened the doors of her new Hollywood restaurant.

The actress was joined by pal Sheryl Crow at the launch of Beso, and revealed her cast mates on Desperate Housewives will always have a table reserved for them.

The Tex-Mex restaurant Longoria will run with top chef Todd English features recipes from the Longoria family cookbook - including her own famous guacamole.

She says, "I make the best guacamole in the world. And my tortilla soup, for which I am renowned for."

And Longoria admits she's always on the look out for new recipe ideas: "I'll go to a restaurant and if I have an amazing dish I'll go to the kitchen and ask the chef how he made it. And then I'll make him teach me."
