Court Rules Jon Dalton to Provide More Evidence in Lawsuit  3/12/08

American reality TV star Jon Dalton has been ordered to provide a court with more evidence over his alleged fight with former child star Danny Bonaduce before he can sue the producers of an awards show.

Dalton - aka Jonny Fairplay - is attempting to sue TV network Fox for negligence and battery after Bonaduce allegedly threw the former Survivor star over his shoulders onstage at the Fox Reality Channel Really Awards in October (07).

But Superior Court Judge Michael C. Solner told Dalton at a hearing on Tuesday (11Mar08): "I think more facts should be set forth."

Solner gave the 34-year-old 20 days to amend his complaint to explain why the show's producers were negligent and involved in the alleged battery.

Fox's lawyer Vicki Greco insist Bonaduce's actions were unplanned and the companies were not responsible for the incident.

The next hearing is scheduled for May 12 (08).
