“Another Idol’s Dreams Shattered”

After millions of votes, the first of the bottom three was Carly Smithson. That was a total shock. She has one of the best voices on Idol and she does not deserve to be on the hot seat. How the public voted against her while voting for Michael Johns whose performance last night was akin to listening to crackling chestnuts, is simply beyond rational comprehension.

The next to be seated in the bottom three was Kristy Lee Cook. This is no surprise as she continues to be a mediocre performer with little stage skill and limited vocals.

The last to be seated in the bottom three was rocker chick Amanda Overmyer. She has a limited audience and thus a smaller voting pool.

So, who was the unlucky Idol to see their dreams shattered? Amanda was sent back home and will sing no more on the Idol stage. It was a wrong decision. Very wrong. She was the most unique of the contestants and she will be missed.
