Britney Spears Won't Be Singing at Mel Gibson's Church  3/24/08

Mel Gibson has laughed off reports Britney Spears is to sing at his Los Angeles church.

The troubled pop superstar - who was recently spotted dining out with Gibson, her former Malibu, California neighbor - was alleged to be performing a special "gospel-style number" for the actor/director at The Holy Family Catholic Church.

The British tabloid reports also claimed Spears was to have "a new song written for her for the occasion", but Gibson's representative has dismissed the claims insisting there isn't "an ounce of truth to it", according to TMZ.
