Sara Evans to Wed Radio Host  3/25/08

Country star Sara Evans is to wed her boyfriend of four months less than a year after finalizing her scandalous divorce.

The 37-year-old singer recently accepted sports talk radio host Jay Barker's proposal. A wedding date is yet to be scheduled.

The couple started dating in November (07), after meeting when Evans was a guest on Barker's The Opening Drive radio show.

Evans' spokeswoman Lori Genes tells People Magazine, "The couple are enjoying their engagement and look forward to their upcoming nuptials."

Evans separated from her longtime husband during her stint on U.S. reality show Dancing With The Stars in 2006, amid cheating rumors.

The former couple's bitter divorce battle ended last September (07).

Evans has three children with her ex-husband, while Barker has four kids from his previous marriage.
