Kate Bosworth's Dog Adoption Impresses Sigourney Weaver  3/25/08

Kate Bosworth has a fan for life in Sigourney Weaver after impressing the veteran actress by adopting a stray Moroccan dog.

Kind-hearted Bosworth - who co-stars with Weaver in upcoming movie The Girl In The Park - found her beloved pooch Lila in the North African country and decided to bring her back to Los Angeles.

Weaver says, "She found that dog in Morocco. When someone rescues a dog from a desert and takes it back to L.A. and makes that animal's life work on these new terms, you already know an awful lot about that person."
