Pink
Pays Up in Painting Lawsuit

Pop star Pink has settled a copyright infringement lawsuit with an
artist who accused her of unlawfully using his work in her U + UR Hand
music video.
Painter Vladimir Kush claimed Pink - real name Alecia Moore - used
reproduced images from his work Countes Erotiques in her 2006 single promo
without his permission.
Kush also named the singer's record label, Zomba, in the lawsuit, which
was filed in Manhattan District Court in New York last August (07).
However, Pink has now agreed to pay up to put an end to the dispute,
according to the New York Post's gossip column PageSix.
Kush says, "I'm an artist and do not enjoy the litigation process,
but if someone is wrongfully taking from my creations, I must defend my
art."
