Rimmel
Deny Axing Kate Moss
3/28/08
British cosmetics giant Rimmel has denied rumors the company are
planning to drop supermodel Kate Moss as the face of the brand.
The 34-year-old beauty has been the spokesmodel for the make-up firm
since
2001 and has featured in all the company's high profile advertising
campaigns.
Recent reports suggested Moss was about to lose the multi-million
dollar contract in favor of a younger model - with possible replacements
being named as James Bond star Gemma Arterton and British TV presenter
Alexa Chung.
But company bosses have quashed the rumors, insisting Moss will
continue to front the line.
Rimmel spokeswoman, Emmanuelle Bonte, says, "Kate remains the face
of Rimmel London and will continue to appear in campaigns for the
foreseeable future.
"Rimmel London has no plans to replace Kate. We are very happy
with the collaboration."
