Jessica Simpson in Hospital With Kidney Infection  4/1/08

Singer/actress Jessica Simpson has been hospitalized with a minor kidney infection.

The 27-year-old checked into Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Friday (28Mar08) complaining of "feeling achy" and suffering a "fever", reports U.S. publication In Touch Weekly.

Simpson has responded well to treatment and is expected to be released later on Monday (31Mar08), according to her representative.
