Elizabeth Hurley Misses Life on the Farm  5/2/05

Austin Powers star Elizabeth Hurley regrets the timing of the launch of her new beachwear clothing line because its keeping her away from lambing season on her Gloucestershire farm.

The model/actress has never missed a single lamb being born until now, but she's thousands of miles away from her country farm promoting Elizabeth Hurley Beach in America.

She says, "I've watched every single lamb be born. Two were born last week, which I missed... I've held the video camera for all of them. I videotaped them all."

And she admits becoming a farm girl has made her think twice about being a meat-eater.

She adds, "I'm really a meat eater at heart but it's really put me off eating meat because they (the lambs) are so sweet. We've named every single lamb...

They're named after all my friends and family.

"It's a working farm and really they're meant to go for meat one day, so you're not meant to get attached to them but there's one little one that I bottle feed, who I don't want to eat at all."
