GLOBE Challenges American Idol Host Paula Abdul Offers to Pay for
Polygraph Test to Determine if She Had a Secret Affair With American Idol
Contestant
NEW YORK, May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The new issue of GLOBE is continuing
its exclusive coverage of former American Idol contestant Corey Clark's
claims that he had a steamy secret affair with judge Paula Abdul during
the show's 2003 season.
On sale May 5, the GLOBE responds to vehement denials from Abdul's camp
on Clark's alleged claims that he had a relationship with Abdul while a
contestant by giving both camps a chance to tell the truth; GLOBE will
arrange for Abdul and Clark to be tested by a board certified polygraph
expert for which it will pay and print the results.
"All eyes are on Corey and Paula right now," says GLOBE
Editor-in-Chief Candace Trunzo. "They owe it to American Idol fans to
settle this thing once and for all. We invite both of them to sit down and
take a lie detector test. We'll let our readers judge who is telling the
truth on American Idol."
The claims first became public as Clark was shopping around a book
proposal on his relationship with Abdul, which GLOBE reported exclusively
in its May 2 issue.
The new issue of GLOBE will hit newsstands on May 5. SOURCE GLOBE
