Chesney's Ex Thrilled About Renee Zellweger Wedding  5/10/05

The ex-fiancée country star Kenny Chesney dumped after a three-year romance is thrilled her ex has wed Renee Zellweger.

Mandy Connor, who appeared in Cheney's How Forever Feels video, admits she was shocked when she heard about yesterday's (09MAY05) wedding, but she's convinced actress Zellweger has landed a good man in her ex.

Speaking to US news show Extra, Connor, who split from Chesney in May 2000 but remained friends with the cowboy crooner, reveals her ex called her earlier this month (MAY05) to congratulate her on her own recent wedding - but made no mention of his own plans.

Chesney and Zellweger were married on St John in the Virgin Islands, where the singer has a holiday home.
