American Idol Star Stuns With Another Bombshell  5/11/05

Bitter former American Idol contestant Corey Clark has dropped another bombshell on the hit show - he wasn't the only one having an affair with high-profile staff on the TV contest.

Clark stunned America last week (ends06MAY05) when he revealed he'd had an affair with show judge Paula Abdul on US news show Primetime Live, and on Monday night (09MAY05) he insisted another contestant dated a producer.

During an appearance on US chat show The Big Idea, Clark told host Donnie Deutsch that Kimberly Locke, who finished third the season he was kicked off the show for not coming clean about his criminal past, had a fling with producer Simon Lithgoe.

Clark claimed, "There was one female contestant in particular that I was told was dating one of the executive producers of the show - Kim Locke.

"She finished in third place and she was dating the head producer's son, Simon Lithgoe - he's a producer on the show himself as well.

"They got really flamboyant with their relationship on the tour, which I wasn't a part of. A couple of them (fellow contestants) cared, but they didn't really pay too much mind to it. They kinda said, they know why she got third now, y'know.

"She told me that they had a little thing going on but she didn't go into detail."

Locke has hit back at Clark's comments, insisting her romance with Lithgoe took place after the show.

She says, "Any relationship I had with anyone involved in the series started after the competition ended... I hope Corey will rely on his music talents to further his career as I have done."

Meanwhile, in another shocker for the top-rated show, another former contestant, Trenyce, has confessed she had an "intimate relationship" with Clark during the second season of the show.
