Trippin' Producer Predicted Cameron Diaz Kiss Story  5/15/05

MTV producer Shane Nickerson has laughed off bogus reports he kissed Hollywood star Cameron Diaz - and amazingly predicted the story before it even broke.

Nickerson, 33, suspected the paparazzi would latch on to him once he took on the high-profile post, which sees him regularly working with celebrities such as Diaz.

And Nickerson - who sparked up a friendship with Diaz after working on her new wildlife show Trippin' - joked with his wife that their 'relationship' was destined to become headline news.

He says, "Me and my wife joked about something like this when I started this job.

"How funny would it be if you end up in a paparazzi picture with her and the tabloids say 'Cameron's new man!'

"In fact, I told my wife, 'One of the reasons this is so stupid is because you know that if I was hooking up with Cameron you'd have been the first one I high-fived.'"
