Family Problems Bring Lohan Siblings Closer  5/16/05

Pop star Lindsay Lohan's family feud with her father Michael has had one positive outcome - it has brought her closer to her siblings.

Michael Lohan has been arrested for assault and recently made a TV threat to his daughter and estranged wife, Lindsay's mother, but his efforts to break up the family have actually made them closer.

Lohan says, "It's made me much closer with my brothers and sister. "I don't care if people are going to write about me - they can put it on me.

"But the reason it upsets me to read about the situation with my dad in the tabloids is because I have three siblings and they have to go to school and hear about it.

"That hurts me the most, because I feel like a lot of this is my fault."

Lohan admits she has done a lot of growing up in the past 12 months: "It seems like the last year has been a whole life in a way. I had my first real boyfriend (Wilmer Valderrama), I've had to deal with a family crisis, I got sick, I was in the hospital."
