Run DMC Star Gets Real for TV  5/17/05

RUN DMC star REVEREND RUN is the latest celebrity to open up his household to reality TV cameras.

The day-to-day exploits of the Reverend, his wife JUSTINE, and their five children will be the focus of a new MTV series later this year (05).

The music network's BRIAN GRADEN promises fans the show will give viewers "an inside look at the lives of hip-hop royalty".

Run - real name JOEY SIMMONS - says, "My family is my ministry. I'm gonna raise it up with or without cameras. But I'm excited to do it on MTV."

SEAN 'P DIDDY' COMBS and Run's brother RUSSELL SIMMONS have been named among the executive producers.
