Eva Longoria Keeps Career Focus on Desperate Housewives  5/23/05

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria may be focusing on hit TV show Desperate Housewives, but she is keen to branch out into film full-time when her schedule becomes less hectic. 

The 30-year-old Latina is already working on a movie with film heavyweights Michael Douglas and Kim Basinger this year (05), but she remains loyal to the series which rocketed her to fame, and is determined to make the most of the experience while it lasts. 

She tells the British edition of Cosmopolitan magazine, "My priority is Desperate Housewives obviously, but I'd like to make movies when I have the chance. "I'm doing The Sentinel with Michael Douglas and Kim Basinger this summer, but the TV series is the main focus of my life right now and I just want to enjoy that and everything that comes with it."
