Richard Branson Was Elizabeth Hurley's Inspiration  5/24/05

Elizabeth Hurley credits Virgin Records founder Sir Richard Branson for inspiring her to realize her dream of starting a clothing line.

The movie star and model has created new summer wear line Elizabeth Hurley Beach, and she admits she wouldn't have started her new business if it wasn't for Branson.

Hurley explains, "I was on one of Richard Branson's islands (Necker) and realized this man had built this astonishing empire himself.

"I thought, 'It's about time I made an effort, even if it's going to be miniature.'"
