Paris Hilton Blames Others for Unlucky Few Years  5/26/05

Socialite Paris Hilton insists she is not to blame for the series of misfortunes that have shaped her life over the last couple of years, and claims her bad luck was all down to mixing with the wrong crowd.

The hotel heiress has had an unlucky few years - her explicit amateur sex video 1 Night in Paris surfaced on the internet in 2003, her beloved pooch Tinkerbell famously went missing in Beverly Hills, California, last year (04), and her T-Mobile Sidekick phone was attacked by hackers in February (05).

But the 24-year-old Simple Life star insists she is not to blame for anything.

She says, "I'm always crying and saying, 'I can't believe this happens to me,' but it's other people who do things - it's never my fault.

"I think God knows I'm a good person.

"I always get good karma back, so even though the most horrible thing could happen, somehow God changes it around.

"It's made me learn to be very wary, mature faster than most people and get my life together.

"Now I couldn't be happier."
