Former American Idol Contestant Arrested  5/26/05

Hit talent show American Idol has been hit with yet another scandal, after a former contestant was arrested for drunk driving. 

Just weeks after ousted contestant Corey Clark claimed to have had a sexual relationship with show judge Paula Abdul, reports have emerged that season two finalist Kimberly Caldwell was arrested for drunk driving after police pulled her over in her vehicle on 19 May (05) in Burbank, California. 

Caldwell, 23, failed a sobriety test and was released after posting $5,000 bail, according to US Weekly. Officials have 30 days to file charges. Caldwell's representative says, "Kimberly is consulting a lawyer and disputing the charges."
