Brad Pitt Considers Adopting African Child  5/26/05

Brad Pitt is considering following his reported new lover Angelina Jolie's example and becoming a single parent after falling in love with orphans on a trip to Africa. 

The movie hunk admits he has been inspired by Jolie's charity work as a United Nations ambassador and by her maternal efforts in raising her adopted Cambodian son Maddox - and now he wants to give parenting a go. 

Pitt, who is currently in the middle of divorcing Jennifer Aniston, says, "I don't know how I can't (adopt) now, seeing what I've seen... It makes all the sense in the world. "The orphans... You just wanna take 'em up in your arms and take as many with you as you can."
