The OC star Adam Brody was bemused when fans presented him with an enormous birthday cake - as it wasn't even his birthday. But the hunky 25-year-old, who plays geeky comic book lover Seth Cohen in the hit US television series, refused to disappoint his admirers.

He says, "A few girls waited outside the studio with a birthday cake for me. But it wasn't my birthday. "I just smiled and took the cake."
