Spinning Around singer Kylie Minogue has snapped up more land on a luxurious island in Australia, where she is building a hideaway and possibly planning her wedding.

The Sunday Telegraph reports the 37-year-old purchased a retreat in the heart of French Island in Victoria, Australia, 18 months ago and has just bought 80 additional hectares to vastly expand the estate.

The oasis includes forests and rolling pastures and brings her island estate to 100 hectares in size.

The most private spot on the island is accessible only by ferry and boasts amazing views of Minogue's hometown of Melbourne.

According to one neighbor, "It is an absolutely stunning spot."

Locals say no expense is being spared in transforming the estate into a luxury island escape, which includes a 150-metre (492-foot) tree-lined drive leading to a lavish modern villa.

In a nod to Parisian-born boyfriend Oliver Martinez, the retreat has reportedly been decorated with a French influence.
