Singer/actress Jennifer Lopez insists political apathy is no longer excusable because she fears current world politics are getting out of control.

The I'M REAL singer is scheduled to play concerts in volatile India and Turkey on her current (begs27APR06) global tour, and the war in Iraq has set her feelings on edge.

Despite preferring not to mix celebrity and politics, she feels compelled to speak out about the continuing conflict.

She says, "The current world situation makes me nervous.

"I don't like talking about politics, because it seems a little strange to me when celebrities begin talking politics.

"But just like all people who have a family, I ask myself, 'Oh my God, what's happening?'

"I don't know when all this is going to end and when things will change.

"One day, we will look back and we'll say, 'Oh, my God, did we do something wrong?'

"I don't want that to occur, but I think it's going to happen."
