Tom Cruise on Fire in Mission Impossible III  5/3/06

Eagle-eyed film fans will literally see Tom Cruise on fire in new movie Mission Impossible III - his hair was set ablaze in one scene and the actor insisted it stayed in the movie.

The daredevil actor was so concerned about co-star Keri Russell during one stunt scene, he ignored his own perilous position near a blaze, and embers set his scalp on fire.

He recalls, "I felt so responsible with things blowing up around us and what happened is my hair caught on fire.

"If you see the shot, the flames are coming... and embers are flying off my hair."
