Salma Hayek and Ashley Judd Fight Aids in Nicaragua 5/8/06

Actresses Salma Hayek and Ashley Judd have joined a Nicaraguan campaign to fight the spread of AIDS in the Central American country. The pair are in the capital Managua on a tour of Central America as ambassadors for charity YouthAids.

In a ceremony on Friday (5MAY06) they both signed a declaration pledging their support for programs to fight the disease, in the office of President Enrique Bolanos. YouthAids aims to educate 15-24 year olds about HIV/AIDS using popular culture.
