Evangeline Lilly: "I'm Mean"  5/11/06

Lost actress Evangeline Lilly refuses to subscribe to the Hollywood lifestyle, insisting she is too mean to spend her money on luxuries.

The Canadian star prefers second-hand clothes to designer fripperies, and lives modestly in a bid to keep her bank balance bulging.

She says, "I love vintage and I love cheap.

"I don't have a nice house. I don't have a nice car. I don't like spending my money, so yeah, I am genuinely that cheap."
