Nicollette Sheridan Faced Singing Fears 5/16/06

Desperate Housewives star Nicolette Sheridan was terrified when fiancé Michael Bolton asked her to perform a duet with him, because she has a huge fear of singing.

The actress performs the song The Second Time Around on her fiancé's new album, Bolton Swings Sinatra.

She explains, "We did a duet together. I don't sing. I'm terrified of snakes and singing. Michael says I better watch out if I ever run into a singing snake.

"It was nerve-wracking. Michael asked me to sing the song with him and I said, 'Me? What? Why?'

"He said, 'Well, you've got a beautiful voice.' He always encouraged me to sing in the 15 years that I've known him. So I did it!

"It's an amazing thing - if you really just embrace and confront and go for your for hugest fear - what you can do. It actually turned out kind of pretty!"
