Hugh Jackman Rocked Out for Wolverine  5/17/06

Hugh Jackman got into his X-Men: The Last Stand character Wolverine by rocking out to heavy metal music.

The actor had to beef up to reprise his role in the forthcoming sequel, and spent days on end working out alone to loud aggressive tunes.

He says, "I train at the gym and I'm pretty fit but I'm pretty lean naturally so there's a lot of eating and a lot of training going on but for me it's part of the character. I get into that room at 4.30 in the morning and I crank up the Godsmack or Metallica as loud as it goes and the whole time I'm screaming and yelling.

"That's all for me part of getting ready for the day. I always think as laid back as he gets that at any point if you just looked at him the wrong way he'd just take your head off."
