Jennifer Lopez TV Show Gets Green Light  5/22/06

Superstar Jennifer Lopez is hoping her second foray into television is more successful than her flop soap South Beach, after MTV agreed to broadcast her reality TV show Moves.

J.Lo's drama South Beach - which starred Vanessa Williams - was cancelled earlier this year (06) after dismal reviews and ratings.

However, Lopez is hoping to use her dance training and experience to assist aspiring dancers in their careers in a fly-on-the-wall show for MTV.

She will select and audition dancers in the program, as well as acting as an executive producer.

Lopez enthuses, "I started out as a dancer, and I know what that world is.

These dancers have dedicated their lives to this, and honestly, the glory is not always there. It's something they do only out of love. It's a tough life, and I want to show that struggle."
